Modern Modeling Methods History

The first Modern Modeling Methods conference was held at UCONN in May 2011. The Modern Modeling Methods conference was held annually from 2011 to 2018.  In 2019, the campus hotel was closed for the entire summer, so the Modern Modeling Methods conference went on a one-year hiatus. The Modern Modeling Methods conference was scheduled to resume in 2020. (Papers had been accepted, the full program was set.) However, due to COVID-19, the 2020 conference was cancelled in March 2020, and the conference was not held in 2021 or 2022. In June of 2023, the Modern Modeling Methods conference resumed as an annual conference, planned for late June each year.

Over the years, the Modern Modeling Methods conference has hosted a veritable who’s who of scholars as keynote speakers and workshop presenters.  Below you will find a list of Modern Modeling Methods keynote and workshop presenters by year.
