Program Updates 6.27.23
Update to program book
Due to illness, two presentations have been withdrawn from the conference–
Session 6E– Generalizability Theory Applied to Daily Relationship Quality: Substantive and Statistical Directions by Madison Shea Smith and Susan C. South has been withdrawn. The other 2 presentations in that session will now have up to 40 minutes for their presentations.
Session 7B– Modeling Options for Clustered Data: An empirical comparison of Hierarchical and Population Average Models by Bethany Bell et. al. has been withdrawn. The other presentation in that session (Understanding the Consequences of Collinearity for Multilevel Models: The Importance of Disaggregation across levels) will now have the full hour for their presentation and Q & A.

So, if you are arriving in the evening/late night, you should call the 860-234-2181 phone number. Booking instructions for the Graduate Hotel are now available. You can book a room with the hotel using this link.

There are no minimum night restrictions required. When you open the link, it will automatically open to Sunday night, but you can change the arrival date to stay any night(s) within the block.

Coming to Storrs in June?
In June, the daily high temperatures are generally in the high 70’s or low 80’s, and the average low temperatures at night are in the 50’s or 60’s.
The Modern Modeling Methods conference is back for 2023!
We will resume MMM as an in-person conference at UCONN June 26-28, 2023. The conference will be June 27-June 28, with a preconference workshop on June 26. Keynote and featured speakers for 2023 include Bengt Muthen, Ellen Hamaker, and Tihomir Asparouhov. Bengt Muthen, Tihomir Asparouhov, and Ellen Hamaker will also present the preconference workshop. Conference proposals will be due January 30, 2023. The proposal site will open by November 1, 2022.
